Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Socio (the "Service"). By using the Service — browsing listings, claiming a profile, or searching as an advertiser — you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What Socio is

Socio is a directory that lists content creators and lets advertisers search and contact them directly. Creators can claim their listing, verify ownership of their social accounts, and publish rate cards for their content.

Socio is not a party to any deal made between a creator and an advertiser. We never handle payment, hold funds in escrow, or take a commission. Any agreement — pricing, deliverables, timelines, payment — is negotiated and settled entirely between the creator and the advertiser, off the platform. We don't guarantee that either side will follow through, and we aren't responsible if they don't.

Creator accounts

• Some listings are built from publicly available data before anyone has claimed them ("shell" profiles) — see our Privacy Policy for what that involves and how to request removal.
• Claiming a profile requires proving you control the account via that platform's own sign-in (e.g. Google for YouTube). Claiming a profile you don't own, or claiming on someone else's behalf without authorization, is not allowed.
• You're responsible for keeping the information on your claimed profile — bio, rates, categories — accurate. Rates you publish are informational; they don't obligate you to accept every inquiry at that price.
• You can hide a claimed listing instantly from your dashboard, any time, reversibly. For a correction, or if you haven't claimed it, email [email protected].

Advertiser use

• Search is free. We don't charge advertisers to find or contact creators.
• Contact details you unlock are for genuine outreach about a potential collaboration — not for spam, scraping, or reselling creator contact information.
• We don't vet or guarantee the accuracy of a creator's stated audience, engagement, or availability beyond what's labelled "verified" (proven via that platform's own sign-in). Unverified figures are self-reported or drawn from public data and may be out of date.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use Socio to:

• Impersonate a creator, advertiser, or anyone else, or claim a profile you don't control
• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy listings outside normal browsing
• Upload false, misleading, or infringing content to a profile
• Attempt to circumvent the verification, claim, or removal processes
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or suppress a listing or account that violates these terms, with or without notice.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is." We don't warrant that listings are complete, accurate, or uninterrupted, or that any creator-advertiser interaction arranged through Socio will result in a successful deal. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Socio is not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from a deal, communication, or interaction between a creator and an advertiser — that relationship, and everything about it, is between them.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Service changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
